This version of the BullFrog comes un-assembled and includes all of the parts you need to build five complete switch machines, including:
- All pre-cut wood pieces
- Locking hardware
- Control wire
- SPDT microswitch
- All screws, nuts & washers
To assemble the switch, you will need white glue. A modeling knife, fine sandpaper, #2 Philips screwdriver, and about 15 minutes. (The first one may take you a bit longer.)
The BullFrog is easy to mount under your layout with just two screws and will work with all scales from Z to O. The control wire offers high torque and a long throw, making it easy to mount the control with minimal alignment problems.
Use your own control rod, or purchase the control rod kit to connect the BullFrog to your control panel using a nylon control rod that includes a Z bend connector and decorative knob. We also offer several additional accessories.

BullFrog Manual Turnout Control - Stress Testing
Before releasing our new BullFrog manual turnout control, we built this test jig to stress test the design. After 100,000 cycles, the BullFrog showed no significant signs of wear. To simulate switching stress, we restrained the switch wire, which broke after 10,000 cycles, while the BullFrog was no worse for wear.

I ordered 8 of the BullFrog MTC units and WOW speed of delivery from you in Canada to me here in the UK was excellent. Just 5 days and that was over the weekend and the Monday was a Bank holiday here too. Ordered on Friday received on Tuesday. The product is beautifully cut and is very crisp. The instructions are good and expertly printed. Just a little thing that could be shown a little more clearly was the schematic of the Keeper for the 2 nuts in the instructions. I took it that it should fit horizontally but in fact one end "kicks up". The GA drawing does show it at an angle so all was well. I still give it 5 stars as it is a super product. I'll be ordering some of your other products now I have found you. I build in 1:43 "0 "gauge scale. Thanks gents Best

your instruction show wood washer on top pivot point, the picture shows wood washer on long slot pivot point, also following arrows on assemble left and right versions on unit incorrect it can be put together incorrectly

I've purchased a dozen of Bull Frog units. The newer ones seem to assemble easier. They all fit well and perform well. It's possible to assembly them as a LH or RH unit. The instructions are not as clear as they could be to choose either LH or RH. However, I really didn't need that difference in my application. I use them to throw my switches which lay on top of 1/4" cork, 1-1/2" pink foam board and then 1/2" OSB board or a total distance of 2-1/4" through a 1/2' diameter hole. They work well.

I took a chance when I ordered the BullFrog turnout controls. I've had issues in the past with getting Tortoise machines to align properly and then there was the issue of wiring them... None of those issues with the BullFrogs. They are easy to assemble and are very easy to install. Admittedly, the wiring isn't an issue as I am going dead rail and full manual but they were a breeze and a great deal. Way to go Tim!
