Next you insert your rail into the track guide slots. The track slots are machined very precisely to ensure proper gauge.

The rails are then soldered
to the PC Board Ties with a
standard 35 watt soldering iron.
Building The Frog & Switch Points
Step 1
The Fast Tracks PointForm Tool makes quick work of frog and switch points.
To build a frog you would start by simply inserting a couple pieces of rail into the jig.
Step 2
File the protruding rail flat to the surface of the jig
Remove the rails from the PointForm and you have a perfect frog point!
The PointForm can also be used to create perfect switch points as well.
To finish the frog point, simply insert the points into the Assembly Fixture and solder them together.
Once you have soldered all of the PC Board Ties to the rails and completed the frog and switch points you can remove the trackwork from the Assembly Fixture.

The ties can be glued to the trackwork, or you can spike the ties and trackwork directly to your layout.
Step 2
Once the ties are fastened to the trackwork, you simply break away the excess material.
