Fast Tracks Announces Easy To Use Rail Bending Tool

Calgary, CANADA -- July 2005 -- Today Fast Tracks introduced the Fast Tracks Rail Roller rail-bending tool. An innovative new tool that makes it easy to create perfectly smooth bends and straighten previously curved rail.

Creating smooth, consistent radius bends in small gauge rail has always been a challenge with few tools available for this critical task. Now the Fast Tracks Rail Roller will help modellers produce curves of any radius with just a single pass through the Rail Roller. Additionally the same tool can also straighten previously curved rail with just a couple of passes through the tool.

The ergonomically designed Rail Roller is constructed from high impact cast acrylic and uses high quality ball bearing rollers for long life and smooth operation. The Rail Roller also includes an etched scale that allows the modeller to record and consistently re-create the same radius over and over.

Using the Rail Roller is a simple process of inserting the rail in the rollers, adjusting the radius adjustment knob and pushing the rail through the rolls. A single pass is usually all it takes. The Rail Roller can accommodate rail sizes from code 40-148.
