Precision built PC Board Ties are manufactured by Fast Tracks specifically for model railroaders


Copper cladded fiberglass PC Board "ties" are soldered to the rails at strategic points in hand laid trackwork to permanently hold the rails in gauge. They are typically used to construct soldered trackwork using Fast Tracks assembly fixtures, however they can be used for any method of hand laid trackwork.

Fast Tracks PC Board ties are stamped rather than sheared, producing a perfectly flat tie with no twisting or warping. The copper is paper thin allowing you to cut the copper with a small file or rotary tool to isolate the rails. Both sides of the tie are copper cladded.

Ties are available for all switch types as well as for straight and curved trackwork. Our crossties are pre-cut to length and are pre-gapped for DC and DCC compatibility. The height of the crossties match standard wood ties.
