| Step 1 Start by inserting a length of rail into the end of the PointForm tool. The PointForm tool can make both frog and switch points. Here we are making a frog point. |

Step 2 Next you file off the rail flat to the face of the PointForm tool. It only takes a few swipes of a 10" file. |

Step 3 Repeat the process for both halves of the point and you will have two perfectly symmetrical halves of the point. |

Step 4 To solder the frog points together, you can use either a Fast Tracks Frog Helper tool, or an Assembly Fixture. The Frog Helper or Assembly Fixture holds the points at the perfect angle for the frog points. The Frog Helper or Assembly Fixture makes soldering much easier, but you can use an alternative method of holding the points if you prefer. |
