Unfinished HO, 8.5' (2.6m) white pine wood cross ties are custom cut for Fast Tracks by Mt. Albert Scale Lumber and are a perfect match to our QuickSticks and wood turnout ties. They can be used for laying straight and curved trackwork throughout your layout.
Height and thickness produced to very high tolerances (+/-.004"), the highest in the industry. These ties are cut from high quality White Pine selected specifically by Fast Tracks for its ability to take spikes without splitting.

I selected 100 ties at random after "mixing" them up in a big bowl. I checked them for size accuracy to prototype and against each other. I also checked them against past tie orders and othertie manufacturers. THEY are SPOT ON, even compared to an order from 2 years ago. They were more consistent than the other 2 makers compared them to. I didn't see how they accept stain as I haven't decided to stain before use or after. These are quality ties, great for Fathers' Day or any time. The last statement to see if Fast tracks reads these review and rewards someone with way points. (hint,hint)
