Points Finishing File

This file is perfect in HO scale for touching up frog points and switch points. While not extremely flexible it does bend just enough when needed. As seen in the videos, bending the handle just a bit is a nice trick to ease filing in certain situations.

Great tool final final fine tuning of points and frog gaps.

This is the easiest review I have ever done. It's perfect for points filing N scale turnouts because of the flexibility of the file. I have an extensive collection of miniature files so I didn't buy this file when I placed my initial order with Fast Tracks. My files worked OK but took a fair amount of time to get the configuration I wanted. I decided to try out the file because I felt that if the file was "actually" flexible it might work better than my standard files. The flexibility and the coarseness of the file was PERFECT. It takes me only a fraction of the time to get great results every time. In addition, I went back and refiled all the turnouts I had previously completed with the same results. One of the best tools I've got in my collection!!!
