Unfinished Sn3, 7' (2.1m) white pine wood cross ties by Mt. Albert Scale Lumber and are a perfect match to our QuickSticks and wood turnout ties. They can be used for laying straight and curved trackwork throughout your layout.
Height and thickness produced to very high tolerances (+/-.002"), the highest in the industry. These ties are cut from high quality White Pine selected specifically by Fast Tracks for its ability to take spikes without splitting.

I use these ties along with the plywood templates and they match perfectly. I prefer the softer wood for spiking, as they are easier yet still hold the rails in perfect alignment. Actually, spiking is my favorite activity in model railroading, as my brain then concentrates on other more important things, such as listening to music or planning future revisions. 🙂
