I made my first Fast Tracks crossing. Never made anything for track before. It came out just perfect. I'm now looking to replace all my turnouts with Fast Tracks. I can see now that if you want trouble free running, this is the way to go.
Just wanted to let you know this turnout jig is FANTASTIC to say the least. Perfect turnout every time, I never had train roll so smooth through a switch.

If you are considering using Fast Track, I strongly encourage you to do so. The instructional videos are priceless. Get the point form tool, the stock aid, and tie breaking tool plus any others they recommend that you don't have.
I used all of these to upgrade shinohara turnouts. I modified them for dcc. They performed excellently after the installation.

Although I have scratch built switches before, this was extremely easy with no fiddling around with frogs or point rail to get them aligned correctly. Built first one in 1-3/4 hr. Well done
